Custom Wads can be crated using a software called WADDER. Here's how to do it:
To create custom wads you'll need:
*wadder (pc program)
*common-key.bin (file needed to use wadder)
*An sd card to install the wads on wii
INSTALLING WADDER
1- First, Install wadder as Administrator . DON'T RUN IT YET!!! It will be installed in C:/wadder.
2- Then coppy common-key.bin to C:/wadder.
3- Now you can run wadder
CREATING WADDS
1- Start wadder
2- Set the Channel Name
3- Set the channel ID
4- Browse the .dol file from you wanted to create a WAD
5- Browse for a Banner Image (the banner is the background of the wad when you click on it)
6- Browse for an Icon Image (Icon is the image of the channel in the wii menu)
7- Browse for a Logo Image (Logo is the Name of the channel that appears in the Icon after a while)
8- Browse for a short sound or click on set silent
9- Check "Disable Splashscreen" (to be able to watch all the process)
10- And Click "Create Wad!". DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING OR MOVE THE MOUSE OR KEYBOARD UNTIL THE PROGRAM ASK YOU WHERE TO SAVE THE WAD!!!

that is a VERY old version of WADder, go to http://wadder.net/forums for the latest releases (they include common-key.bin now)

the wads that that WADder creates are also illegal, the newer versions are 100% legal

what version is the video using? 2.5 and 2.6 look different... and When I run the app I input the Title of the channel in all the languages and hit the 'create wad' button and it says I must fill in all the language boxes... I do and it still says it...
