MSX, which stands for Microsoft X, is a console that, while unknown to the US & British Market (among others), was pretty common in Japan and a few other locations worldwide.

@JonahTHD: You are half right, whilst Microsoft X was very popular in Japan, it enjoyed a healthy (but not massive) market share in the UK

How come there are no MSX games here? I know Konami released a few (Salamander, Space Manbow, Gradius 2, etc.)...

is there any more links to games in this section or is it just them 3 as i would like to try out the others in this section many thankx to the ppl who have put links up already and thankx to the one who have exsplaned what the msx is as i had no idea what it was i know a lot of systems but this one must have passed me by.

do i need any sertion files on my wii to get these games to work as i have installed them with wad manager and they go on to my wii but do not load up i am using a softmod wii 4.0e that has ioscrop v3.5 on it and my wii will play any region games disk's, VC and Wiiware and hav not had any problems with any others apart from theses

haven't tried it myself yet,
but if you wanted to try other games there is an msx emulator

rhys_davies: Is your Wii running in PAL? I hear that stops the games from working.

dunno mate, haven't tried it yet
only really use the snes/genesis ones....way better than vc versions
n64 doesn't work too well for me either

roxahris: my wii is PAL but i have made it run VC and WiiWARE from anywere i can run jap and usa vc and wiiwere games without them having to be region free with no problems at all its just these one that are not running

You need to run the games in NTSC - the video mode.

like i have sead my wii maybe a pal wii but the wii is regionfree and can play any region game
