I separated the three Backup Launchers in to separate table rows: "Backup Launcher (GC)", "Backup Launcher (Wii)", and "SoftChip".
I also cleaned up some missing and garbage code.

What is everyone's feelings on hotlinking to images on other sites. I personally think it's a bad idea. If the link changes, then the images on our page become corrupt. What does everyone else think? I'm just curious.

Jogait said

at 2:49 pm on Feb 24, 2009

I think that is better to upload the image to our site and don't use links to images in others sites, the links to other sites could bring problems.

Bearmon said

at 11:30 pm on Feb 24, 2009

I think Jogait is right.. I didnt say you should but maybe it is better to upload the image to our site instead. Why not ? :)

I cant get any emulator to locate that there even is a SD card connected at all, I get messages of no SD card from Visual Boy and Genplus, how can I fix this? I currently have the update versions of everything including homebrew but not firmwares 4.2, I'm still on 4.1

Get another SD Card. Some are picky or incompatible.

not sure if this is the right section to talk about it or not, but im having trouble using this app called Code Downloader. when i get to the point where it shows me a list different game portion i.e. wii, wiiware, vc, wii channels, etc., when i click any of them, it takes me to this black screen that says: exception (DSI) occurred! with a string of numbers, followed by a stack dump with more string of numbers with these "-->" in them, and a code dump with more string of numbers. can someone please help me out? this problem also applies when i go into neogamma and pressing A to launch any game, so maybe it might help me there as well

paulb said

at 7:37 am on Mar 7, 2010

its not ocarina by any chance is it?
that would either stack dump, or just hang during code retrieval for me
I ended up using the built in ocarina on usbloadergx

what version of neogamma are you using?

blasphemous24 said

at 7:18 pm on Mar 7, 2010

neogamma R6, i think?

paulb said

at 7:22 pm on Mar 7, 2010

I would try a newer version and see if it makes a difference

blasphemous24 said

at 9:27 pm on Mar 7, 2010

the app i was using was code downloader btw, not ocarina
http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Code_Downloader

ok, ill try giving the later version a try

blasphemous24 said

at 12:09 am on Mar 20, 2010

anyway, i had just upgraded to neogamma r8 rc3, but there were no 'press A to launch' message, so maybe that was taken away. only thing is that red steel 2 doesn't launch unless i had its .DOL file, but is it possible to load its DOL file from a usb hdd?

haruspex said

at 11:11 pm on Mar 20, 2010

USB Loader GX allows you to load the DOL file straight from the ISO which you already have on your usb hdd, as do others

Anyone here updated to HBC v1.07 yet?
The icons don't look as good now as they have changed the info boxes to black :(

May have to try some of these alternative ones to see if it improves anything
